Run by the family who lives here

Turna Hotel is a family-run house, not a hotel brand with a franchise agreement somewhere else. We live nearby, we manage the rooms ourselves, and we're the ones who answer when you message.

The name comes from the turna — the crane that travels a long way and always finds its way back to the same resting place. It felt right for a house built for people arriving from somewhere far, in a city that has welcomed travellers for a very long time.

We don't have a concierge desk or a loyalty programme. What we have is time for the people staying with us — a recommendation for where to eat, help finding the right bus, or just someone to ask if the water's warm enough.
