Questions people ask before booking
- Where exactly is Turna Hotel?
- We are at Küçük Ayasofya, Akburçak Sk. No:16, 34122 Fatih/İstanbul, on a quiet street in the Küçük Ayasofya part of Sultanahmet. Little Hagia Sophia is two minutes on foot, the Blue Mosque six, the Sea of Marmara four, and Hagia Sophia about thirteen.
- What time is check-in and check-out?
- Check-in is from 1:00 PM and check-out is until 11:00 AM. If your flight lands early or leaves late, message us — we will keep your bags and do what we can.
- How do I book a room?
- Send us your dates and how many of you there are on WhatsApp, and we will tell you what is free and what it costs. You can also book through Booking.com or Hotels.com if you prefer.
- How many rooms are there, and what types?
- Eight rooms in five types: Classic (10m²), Comfort (13m²), Deluxe (14m², King bed), City (15m²) and Superior (17m², King bed plus a sofa bed). It is a small house and we run it ourselves.
- Can three people stay in one room?
- The Superior room sleeps three — a King bed and a sofa bed. In a Comfort room an extra bed may be possible for a third guest depending on the dates; ask us and we will check.
- Do the rooms have air conditioning and WiFi?
- Every room has air conditioning, a private bathroom, a television and free WiFi.
- Is there parking?
- We do not have a car park of our own. We are on a dead-end street where cars park in front of the house — tell us in advance that you are driving and we will keep a spot for your dates. Nobody has been left without one so far.
- Can you arrange an airport transfer?
- Yes, from both Istanbul Airport (IST) and Sabiha Gökçen (SAW). A driver meets you and brings you to the door, in a sedan or a minivan depending on how many you are. Message us with your flight and we will set it up.
- Do you arrange tours?
- We can, through local operators we have worked with and trust — a Bosphorus cruise, Cappadocia, Gallipoli and Troy, or the Princes' Islands. We do not run them ourselves; we put you in touch and handle the arrangements.
- Is breakfast included?
- We do not serve breakfast at the hotel. There are good places a short walk away, and we point you to the ones we eat at ourselves.
